AYDU has undertaken joint activities with organizations like Forum for African Women Educationalist Uganda (FAWEU) through youth empowerment workshops with funding support from Mobility International USA, we have also been approached by non disabled people’s organisations working on issues of children like Save Orphans and Vulnerable Children Uganda (SOVHEN) for support in assessing needs of these children and identifying referral places. Working  with youth wings within various DPOs, National Youth Council.

We have had continous advocacy engagements with administrators in the respective universities where AYDU has implemented activities, partnerships have also enabled AYDU to participate in national and international events like national youth dialogues which is organized quarterly by Public Opinion a national think tank, AYDU has for the second time in a year been part of the national organizing committee (NOC) for International youth day celebrations, AYDU was the only DPO which invited  to participate in exhibition organised by National Council for Higher education recently.
